Roof

The Wendland Styal+ is a system that combines aesthetic good looks with high performance functionality. Designed for ease of installation, the Styal+ is a high quality, value engineered system that offers more variety and choice in conservatory design.

For the eaves beam, a clad system, utilizes aluminium eaves beam with internal PVCu cladding and an external trim with no swivel required.

For the rafters, Styal+ offers the choice of plain top & bottom capping in full colour options. The end cap fixing bracket doubles as a glazing stop, regardless of the glazing material. Rafter options come in 80 and 90mm profile suites with either square or scotia PVC top cappings or square or scotia aluminium cappings.

A decorative scotia feature is also available to help create an impressive effect for eave beams, rafter top and bottom top cappings and rafter end caps.

For ease of installation, the ridge is manufactured as a one-piece extrusion for maximum structural performance with the option of downlighter fittings within the ridge extrusion. The system can be supplied with welded ridges either to extend the length of the ridge or to give additional support on complex combination roofs, such as T shapes.

The Styal+ roofs can withstand wind speeds of up to 125mph and temperatures from +35 to -15 degrees celtigrade.

Security

All our windows and doors use Hook-Bolt Multi-Point Locking Systems. Manufactured with security in mind all of our patio doors include track rebates to prevent lifting patio doors out.

Glass

We are able to supply our windows and conservatories with many different types of glass dependant on the application. Clear glass, Textured glass, Toughened Glass, Pilkington K™ - whatever your requirement, we are able to help.

Pilkington Texture (Patterned) Glass offers privacy and style throughout the home. Five levels of privacy are available, graded from 1 (least obscuration) to 5 (greatest obscuration). There are 12 original patterns in the main range and 6 in the replacement range. Toughened or laminated versions are available for safety and/or security.

It is essential for safety and performance reasons that glass is correctly specified and installed. Common areas of impact risk, where it is recommended that impact safety glass to BS6206 is installed include Glazed doors, Glazing adjacent to doors, Low level glazing and Bathroom areas.

Pilkington K Glass™ has been established for more than 15 years making it the trusted solution for meeting Building Regulations concerning energy efficiency. Pilkington K Glass™ usually forms the inner pane of an Insulating Glass Unit (IGU). The coating reflects heat back into the room whilst also letting in free heat from the sun, known as passive solar gain. Pilkington K Glass™ helps windows to achieve high Window Energy Ratings to demonstrate compliance with energy saving Building Regulations Part L.
